Watching the SuperBowl ads this year, I can't say I was very impressed. I think a combination of the poor economic conditions and the record breaking cost for a 30 second spot, gave way to sub-par ads. Here is the Good, the bad, and the unnecessary.
The Good
I liked the Audi ad that was a play on the Godfather scene where a bloody horse is found in the bed. It introduced the Audi R8 a "new" kind of luxury. This Superbowl didn't feature too many automobile ads so this one really stood out.
The Bad
I cant stand the spots for Sales Genie. I found them a little annoying, a little cheesy and whole lot racist. One ad had a sales representative who was about to be fired. Stereotypically the sales rep had a Indian accent and also stereotypically the sales rep turns out to have 7 kids. This character sounds like Apo from the Simpsons.
The Unnecessary
I honestly think the Godaddy.com ads are both demeaning towards woman and insulting to the average man. One cant argue with the results of their advertising, but I would personally rather watch a four hour special on the art of sewing than a 30 second spot by the people at Godaddy.
If you want to see them for yourself you could check it out by googling Myspace Superbowl ads

Good commentary, but way too many typos and AP style errors. Here's what I found just in your first paragraph:

Proofread and clean it up. Make the necessary corrections and republish this post. Put "revised" in the headline so I can credit you for correcting it.
Thank you. That's much better.
